Spring 2021 Week 2: 11-15 Jan. 2021 This Week’s Learning Goals: Determine a theme and/or central idea of a text. Produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience. Determine character strengths and how to represent those strengths using symbols. Support claims with evidence. Week at a Glance: Monday, January 11th: By today’s class, complete digital learning stations if not completed on Friday. Bring interactive notebook (IAN) to class. Tuesday, January 12th: After taking your VIA character strengths survey, be sure to upload your top 5 traits to CTLS Assignments. Wednesday, January 13th: Upload completed “My Name” Part II (original vignette) to CTLS Learn. Submit videos of your mini me to FlipGrid. Tuesday, January 19th: By class today, view CEI introduction video. Mon. | 11 Jan. 2020 Opening: Discuss beginning of class norms. Read nonfiction text (for pre-course assignment) for twenty minutes.
